The Woodford Hotel is a restored 1881 boutique hotel at 112 N Main Street in downtown Versailles, Kentucky. It returned the original Hotel Woodford building (1881 to about 1913) to hotel use in 2022. Eight bourbon-themed suites and a private event space sit inside the original 19th-century building. Book a single suite, or buy out the entire hotel — 10 bedrooms, sleeps up to 24. Owner-operated.
Named for Versailles, France by the town’s founder, Revolutionary War general Marquis Calmes, Versailles, KY is a charming southern small town surrounded by Kentucky’s most iconic thoroughbred horse farms, working bourbon distilleries, and agricultural tourism. The Woodford Hotel is one of the few boutique hotels in downtown Versailles — the closest of the hotels near Woodford Reserve Distillery, and minutes from Castle & Key, Buffalo Trace, Four Roses, and Wild Turkey.
Woodford Reserve is about 8 miles away, typically 12–15 minutes. Castle & Key is about 11–12 miles, typically 15–20 minutes; Four Roses about 18 minutes; Wild Turkey about 21 minutes; Buffalo Trace about 15 miles, typically 20–25 minutes.
