Adoption fees are waived for veterans and active-duty military families at Woodford Humane Society on Friday, November 6 and Saturday, November 7! Adoption appointments and approved adoption applications are required; check out our adoptable pets online and see who you might like to meet, or just give us a call and let us know what you’re looking for – we’ll be happy to do some match-making!
Call (859) 873-5491 to book an appointment, starting at 10:00 am on Monday, November 2.
Thank you for your service!
Huge thanks to sponsors Republic Bank, G&J Pepsi, and Bella Windows & Doors, as well as our partners at Hits 106.3, for making this event possible.
A note to all adopters: Please remember that while the adoption may be free, a pet’s care is a big financial commitment averaging $2,000 or more each year.
