Help Shine the Light on Juneteenth with ART!
Join members of our community in creating a collaborative art project for kids & adults that will be displayed in Midway.
Meet at Midway Presbyterian Church’s Community Room (next to the Midway Community Garden) at 1:30 pm on June 1st. Artwork made at this event will be used to create the Wisdom Walk, a display in Midway showcasing words, quotes, and proverbs celebrating Juneteenth Freedom Day. After the Wisdom Walk is used in the Juneteenth Celebration on June 21, the artwork will be moved to the Midway Library for display.
Register by May 28th to marykanestory@gmail.com so we can get an idea of supply quantities.
Creatives of ALL ages and skills welcome – supplies will be provided.
