7th Annual International Overdose Awareness Day

Strengthening Transformations Inc. will observe International Overdose Awareness Day on Monday, August 31st at 6 pm at Big Spring Park. There will be a candle vigil and butterfly release with butterflies provided by The Butterfly Greenhouse at Wilson’s Nursery in Frankfort. There will be speakers such as: a Harm Reduction Specialist from Woodford County Health Department, an VPD representative to discuss local programs and support, and families affected by an overdose tragedy. There will also be elected officials in attendance.
