Downtown Versailles will bring classic Christmas charm to life this year with the inaugural Festival of Living Windows, a new holiday experience featuring themed storefront displays inspired by beloved Christmas movies and traditions.
On two special evenings—Saturday, November 29, from 5–7 p.m., and Saturday, December 13, from 5–7 p.m.—downtown businesses will turn their windows into live scenes complete with guests, mini performances, music, and festive surprises. Visitors can stroll the luminary-lit path between shops, enjoy warm seasonal drinks, and take advantage of photo ops, refreshments, and shopping throughout the district.
As part of the festivities, complimentary carriage rides will be offered on November 29 from 4–7 p.m., adding an old-fashioned touch to the evening.
Those unable to attend the live events can still enjoy the decorated windows throughout the holiday season, as the themed displays will remain up across downtown.
